6:30 pm - 11:59 pm meeting at McSorley's Old Ale House in East Village for our monthly gathering;

Established 1854, McSorley's is New York City's oldest pub. They only have light or dark house ales available and when you order a pint, the very busy barkeep brings two 250mL glasses.
As per the tradition, they serve cheese and crackers with raw onions at no charge.

What makes McSorley's so fascinating is all of the history - from floor to ceiling the walls are plastered with memorabilia dating back to 1854, including pictures and letters from past presidents, actors, and athletes.
It truly is something to see!!!
